Reason for Retraction

This is a retraction notice. VIEW THE RETRACTED ARTICLE (https://doi.org/10.14302/issn.2577-137X.ji-17-1800), which was published on January 04, 2018

This notice is issued by the Editor-in-Chief on behalf of Journal of Immunization (Open Access Pub).

Citation of retracted article: Patil RR; Krishnamurthy. Efficacy of BCG Vaccine and Role of Non Specific Sensitivity Due to Atypical Mycobacteria. Journal of Immunization. 2018; 1(2):1–4. DOI: 10.14302/issn.2577137X.ji171800. Published 4 January 2018.

Reason for retraction: Following an editorial investigation, we confirmed redundant (duplicate)publication. A substantially similar article by the same authors was previously published in Clinical and Medical Reports on 26 December 2017: Patil RR; Krishnamurthy MS. Efficacy of BCG vaccine and role of nonspecific sensitivity due to atypical mycobacteria. DOI: 10.15761/CMR.1000104. The earlier publication constitutes the version of record and the later publication did not disclose prior publication or meet the requirements for acceptable secondary publication.

Process: The investigation followed COPE guidance for handling redundant publication. The corresponding author(s) and the editor of the other journal were notified and given the opportunity to respond prior to this decision. The EditorinChief determined that retraction is required to correct the scholarly record.

Record status: The retracted article remains available to maintain the scholarly record and is clearly marked RETRACTED on the HTML and PDF. This notice links to the article, and the article links to this notice. The article’s openlicense terms remain unchanged.

Approvals: Approved by the Editor-in-Chief of Journal of Immunization.

Date of retraction: 28 December 2018.
