Basic, clinical, applied, experimental and translational research in neuroscience and neurology is welcome throughout the year, as Original research, Review, Systematic review and meta-analysis, Case report (including short case series), Short communication, Brief report, Study protocol, Methodology, Perspective, Letter to the Editor and Commentary. Editorials are commissioned by the editors. Single-blind by default; double-blind review is available on request. Manuscripts that proceed to external peer review are normally evaluated by at least two independent subject-matter experts.
